Adam Young's romantic song snubbed by Taylor Swift

In the accompanying CD booklet, the 21 year old even capitalised the letters A-D-A-M in the song's lyrics.

Young reveals the pair exchanged emails for four months after their meeting, but he was left with a bruised ego when she then started dating Hollywood hunk Jake Gyllenhaal last year (10).

He tells Us Weekly, "(I was) a little (heartbroken). I'm not that eloquent, and I may have said something wrong..."

The country sweetheart ended her romance with Gyllenhaal in December (10) and Young decided to try and win over Swift's heart by sending her his own cover of Enchanted - but his romantic gesture was ignored.

He says, "I never heard back!"
