Ashlee Simpson to launch her first adult clothing line

Ashlee Simpson is following in elder sister Jessica's fashionable footsteps by launching a new clothing line.

The 28-year-old singer has revealed she is designing a "very different" adult collection - her first since she helped her sister create the Jessica Simpson Girls line for teenagers two years ago.

Talking about the inspiration for her new clothing collection, she tells Life & Style magazine, "I think there's a time and a place for certain outfits, and, for me, it's also about comfort and kind of finding your own way with clothes."
