British actor Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly scouting for homes in Los Angeles.
The Sherlock star, who already owns a property in north London, is reportedly keen to have a permanent base in the U.S. as he lands more Hollywood roles.
He has reportedly already viewed a seven-bedroom Tuscan-style villa in the Hidden Hills gated community in Los Angeles featuring a library, gym and cinema.
The estate agent tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "Benedict’s representatives have indicated he is ready to make an initial offer which will not be too far off the asking price, so he could be moving in early in the New Year."
Cumberbatch, 38, proposed to actress/director Sophie Hunter in November (14).
