King Kong will soon be terrorising New Yorkers on Broadway - plans are afoot to turn the monstrous creature into a stage musical.
Producers at Australian company Global Creatures are working on taking their show, featuring a 23-foot (7-meter) tall mechanical ape, to the Big Apple, although a script and score have yet to be penned.
Company executives aim to have King Kong pounding his chest on the New York stage in 2013.
