Chris Hemsworth is to receive a special award at an annual gala celebrating Australians in Hollywood.
The Thor star, who hails from Melbourne, will be honoured with the Excellence In Film Award for his career achievements during the G'Day USA event in Los Angeles later this month (Jan15).
The gala, which will be hosted by Nicole Kidman, will also feature the presentation of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) International Awards.
The event takes place at the Hollywood Palladium on 31 January (15).
