Deryck Whibley Denies Avril Lavigne Break-up Inspired New Album

But Whibley is adamant he is not exorcising the demons of his divorce from the Sk8er Boi star following their break-up last year (09) after three years of marriage.

He tells Kerrang! magazine, "It's not a break-up record. The record's not about her, and it's not about the whole break-up. It's just us being as loud as we can be, screaming about how we don't (care) about anything else other than ourselves."
