Actors Mark Hamill and Robin Williams and singer Ne-Yo were among the guests who helped newlywed Star Wars creator George Lucas celebrate his marriage to Mellody Hobson at a reception in Illinois on Saturday (29Jun13).
The movie mogul married Hobson at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California, on 22 June (13) and they followed up their nuptials a week later with a star-studded soiree in the bride's hometown of Chicago.
Music superstar Prince provided the entertainment during the bash at the city's lakeside Promontory Point, performing under a giant tent with a 22-piece band, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Guests went home with goodie bags stuffed with Skywalker Ranch hats and T-shirts as well as the couple's favourite snack foods, including chocolate cookies and popcorn made by local Chicago companies.
