Justin Timberlake missed out on a deal with Justin Bieber

Scooter Braun tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We were flown to Justin's house in Memphis. He (Timberlake) and Ken Komisar, who runs Tennman Records, offered us a deal, but it wasn't what we wanted."

Scooter Braun stalled and then Usher persuaded his music executive mentor L.A. Reid to check Justin Bieber out.

L.A. Reid, who appears in Justin Bieber's new film Never Say Never revealing how the teenager blew him away the first time he heard him, still recalls the moment he laid eyes on the hitmaker.
