And West has marked the occasion by commissioning watchmakers at Tiret to design a one-off, 18-karat gold timepiece, decorated with over eight karats of yellow, black, brown and white diamonds to depict his likeness on the dial.

But he's not the first artist to do so - last month (Dec10), Usher is reported to have purchased a similar Tiret piece bearing his own image on the watch face.
