Kanye West has found a way to circumnavigate controversy over his new album's cover art - he plans to release the record with five different interchangeable sleeves.
The rapper admitted this week (beg18Oct10) that his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is facing a ban from the shelves of superstore Wal-Mart due to its controversial cover, which sees the star depicted as a naked demon being straddled by a phoenix-type creature.
He later poked fun at the outrage in a post on his Twitter.com page, writing, "In response to the reaction of my album cover... I'm deeply sorry if I haven't offended everybody."
But West has now come up with a solution - he is planning to give fans a variety of different covers to choose from.
He tells MTV.com, "It's five covers. And you get all five of them when you buy the album."
