Kim Basinger is reuniting with her L.A. Confidential co-star Russell Crowe for another period thriller.
The two actors will join new dad Ryan Gosling and Matt Bomer in director Shane Black's The Nice Guys.
Set in 1970s Los Angeles, the film follows the fortunes of a private eye, played by Gosling, and a thug-for-hire, who work together to find a missing girl.
Basinger will play a top lawmaker in the movie.
