Leighton Meester Quitting Gossip Girl in Two Years

When asked by Eonline.com's Marc Malkin how much longer she'll remain on the programme, she says, "Two more years. Because we’re under contract."

Leighton Meester has embarked on a career on the big screen since establishing herself on Gossip Girl, and stars alongside Gwyneth Paltrow in Country Strong.

She is also signed to Universal Republic as a solo singer and recorded a cover version of Rascal Flatts' Words I Couldn't Say for the new movie.
