Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon turned the lights of New York's Empire State Building orange to celebrate the Worldwide Day of Play on Monday (16Sep13).
Cannon joined children's characters SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer to mark the 10th anniversary of the Nickelodeon event.
The Day of Play, which takes place on Saturday (21Sep13), is aimed at encouraging an active lifestyle by inviting kids to play outside. Nickelodeon bosses are set to suspend programming on all its TV channels for three hours to promote the healthy living campaign.
