The Love & Other Drugs star gave birth to William Hudson Goodell in Los Angeles on Tuesday (22Oct13).
A representative for the actress tells Us Weekly magazine, "Mom and baby are doing well and the new parents are overjoyed at the arrival of their first child."
The couple married in 2009.
