Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore file for divorce

Rocker Ryan Adams and singer/actress Mandy Moore have filed for divorce after almost six years of marriage.

The couple has decided to end the relationship just weeks before their sixth wedding anniversary in March (15).

Their representative announced the news in a statement, which reads, "Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost six years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."

They tied the knot in March 2009, in Savannah, Georgia after dating on and off for around a year.
