The Don't Cha singer initially tried out as the host of the upcoming talent show and she has since been upgraded to one of the judges.
She recalls her first meeting with reality TV mogul Mike Darnell was "horrible and awkward," telling The Hollywood Reporter, "They were like, 'Monkey, monkey, dance! Let's go!'"
