Selena Gomez was all smiles when she held a dance party with a young fan battling a rare disease earlier this week (beg20Jun16).
The pop star is in the middle of her Revival tour and during a stop in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday night (22Jun16), she met seven-year-old Audrey Nethery, who suffers from Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA), a life-threatening bone marrow condition.
Selena took to her Instagram to post a sweet video of herself and Audrey dancing and singing along to Love You Like A Love Song, and Selena was more than impressed with the young fan, adding the caption: "Finally got to meet this sweetheart - she owned it fully."
The face-to-face meeting was months in the making, after Selena first reached out to Audrey in February (16), when she posted a comment on the girl's Instagram post of her singing a karaoke version of One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful.
"Audrey, you’re an amazing performer!," Selena wrote at the time. "Call me if you ever need a duet partner."
Audrey found Internet fame last year (15), when her adorable Zumba videos on YouTube and Instagram went viral.
