Actress Taraji P. Henson has brought a bad case of food poisoning back from the Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, and it has put her in hospital.
The star was in Europe promoting her hit TV drama Empire when she fell ill.
Henson posted a photo of an IV drip in her arm on Thursday (18Jun15), shortly after she arrived back in the U.S., and added an Instagram update of Friday (19Jun15), writing, "God has a way of saying, ‘You’re doing too much! SAT DOWN SOMEWHERE' (sic).
"I’m listening Father!!! I am taking several seats!!! Don’t worry y’all I’m a tough cookie! HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I AM FINE!!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody."
Insiders tells TMZ.com the 44-year-old actress ate something rotten while she was in Monaco.
