Taylor Swift: 'I'm single'

Unlucky-in-love pop star Taylor Swift has denied rumours linking her to Jared Leto and Ed Sheeran, insisting: "I'm single."

The I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker has dated a string of famous suitors including rocker John Mayer, One Direction star Harry Styles, and Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Recent reports suggested the blonde beauty has her hooks into another star partner, with names including singer Sheeran and actor/rocker Leto at the top of the list, but she has now spoken out to clear up the speculation and insist she is not in a new romance.

Swift tells British magazine Event, "I am single. To be honest, being single is one of the best things about my life right now. And whatever people think, I actually love it. Life is so much more fun and it's great not to have to worry about calling someone every night, just doing what you want to do. Hanging out with your friends."
