The Saturdays help build cancer hospice

The Saturdays showed off their brick-laying skills on Thursday (06Oct11) by starting building work on a new cancer hospice in the U.K.

The British pop stars are supporters of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Appeal, and they headed to Birmingham, England to launch the creation of a new center.

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, singer Rochelle Wiseman writes, "We are trying to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie... to build a new hospice in Brum (Birmingham).

"We helped start the building process by laying bricks... hopefully they don't fall down as we're not pro's (professionals) eekk."
