An online petition calling for Justin Bieber's deportation to his native Canada has been dismissed by White House officials.
More than 273,000 people signed the document on Whitehouse.org urging authorities to revoke the star's green card following his DUI arrest in Miami, Florida in January (14).
White House staff agree to review a petition if it reaches 100,000 signatures and they have now replied.
A statement posted on the website reads, "Sorry to disappoint, but we won't be commenting on this one... we'll leave it to others to comment on Mr. Bieber's case, but we're glad you care about immigration issues."
