Rachel Zegler

Rachel Zegler is an American actress and singer, best known for her debut film role as Maria in Steven Spielberg's 2021 musical drama West Side Story. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, making her the youngest recipient in that category. Zegler's early career involved local theater productions and a popular YouTube channel where she covered popular songs. Her casting in West Side Story came after an open audition call that received over 30,000 submissions. She is set to star as Snow White in Disney's live-action adaptation of Snow White and as Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
