The World Rugby Sevens Series is a global sports event that sees teams from around the world competing in a series of brutal, hectic 2-day tournaments in international venue to find out who is at the top of their game! When the tournament makes its scheduled stop in the United States, Young Hollywood heads to Dignity Health Sports Park in L.A. to catch up with Team USA star Cody Melphy (who is on his home terf) to get a little Rugby 101! Cody explains to us the ways in which rugby is like a combination of soccer, football, and wrestling and explains the fundamental rules of the game. He also tells us how the regulations on tackling are closely monitored since the players don't wear any pads and shares with us his intense training regimen. Then it's time to put all of our new knowledge to the test as Cody teaches us how to drop kick for those sometimes crucial extra two points!
